Resilient Youth Australia Commitment to Child Safety

Resilient Youth Australia (RYA) is committed to implementing & upholding the Child Safe Standards which form part of the Victorian Government’s response to the Betrayal of Trust Inquiry (the 2013 Parliamentary Inquiry into the Handling of Child Abuse by Religious and Other Non-Government Organisations).

RYA has zero tolerance for child abuse. Everyone at RYA is responsible for the care and protection of children and reporting information about any potential or suspected child abuse and owes a duty of care to prevent the sexual or psychological abuse of a child by any individual.

All RYA Staff (Board, employees, volunteers, and key contractors) fully support our RYA Child Safety Policy, (incorporating a RYA Child Safe Procedures Policy, RYA Code of Conduct and RYA Safety for Vulnerable People Policy).
